Old Friends Found at Mori Point

Luna and I got to talking the owners of this next group. It turns out that we knew each other at Terra Nova, and hadn't seen each other in 39 years. These Chihuahuas all have a hard-luck story, but they've got loving homes now. Their owner promised to check the blog, and leave a comment so that we could get the right name with the right dog--I knew that I would have trouble keeping this pack straight, but I did get the names and numbers: Brandy--#48, Leeza--#49, Ozzy--#50, Patty--#51 and Doug is #52.

One of them is sort of hidden, so here's a couple of solos. The one in the back left was really shy!

These next dogs all have owners that did NOT go to high school with me. But they're still very cute!
Izzy got her name in an unusual way. Her owners had picked her up in Oregon, and were driving home with her. Of course, they stopped many times for pee breaks. The driver would call out to the dogwalker, "Is she done yet?" This went on so many times, that it got corrupted to, "Izzshe dunyet?"  and by the time they got back home, the name "Izzy" had stuck. Izzy is MoriDog #54

MoriDog #55 is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix named Max. He has had two previous homes, and both times his owners lost their homes due to the economic troubles. Luckily, he found his way to a Ridgeback rescue organization, and "Third's The Charm" for Max. His owner assures me that this time, it's for good.

Rocko doesn't have any special story, but he did come from Oakland. Isn't it better over here, Rocko, now that you're MoriDog #56?
